Dave inherited a 1947 Zeiss Ikon Contaflex camera from his grandfather after sharing his first slide show with him. Since then Dave has been taking photos and sharing them with friends, family and broader audiences. He has hosted photography exhibits and developed a series of fine art photographic greeting cards.

Dave hosted his first slide show at the age of 17 after taking a 3 week wilderness guiding certification course. The course took him on an adventure in the back country of the provinces of Ontario and Quebec. After sharing his slide show with his grandparents his grandfather gave him a 1947 Zeiss Ikon Contaflex camera.

Dave eventually upgraded his camera to a Nikon F1 and then finaly made the transition to digital with a Nikon D70. He still enjoys taking photos when time permits and shares them with friends, family and  his greeting cards
